My Professional Statement
I believe that all students bring an incredible amount of knowledge, experience, skills, dreams and hope to our schools. Our job as educators is to focus on the whole student, so that their cognitive, artistic, social and emotional skills can be developed and challenged in exciting learning environments. My passion and love of literature, as well as my energy and commitment in class, helps drive my students to develop their individual English skills as well as their love for poetry, plays, short stories and novels. I am a strong believer in the use of technology, and I always try to integrate various media and aids into my lessons. I also value the power of communication and strive to teach my all of my students effective presentation and speaking skills.
